How to get to Ijen?
Take the train and get off at Stasiun Karangasem (KNE). If you go by yourself, you can get the motorbike taxi to drop you off to the entrance of the park. If you’d like to drive yourself, you can rent a motorbike in front of the train station. If you go in a group, you can rent a car / jeep with a driver to pick you up at the station and drive you back to the station or at the harbor in Banyuwangi.

Here’s the itinerary!
22:00 Pick up at the train station.
23:00 arrive at the entrance.
24:00 entrance gate is open, pay the entrance, start the hike
03:00 arrive at the top of the crater
04:45 wait for the sunrise
06:30 Make your way back to the entrance gate
08:00 Have a rest & clean yourself up at one of the warung at the parking lot. Have some breakfast!
08:30 Drive back to the Karangasem station / Ketapang harbor.
It takes about 1 hour or so to go the harbor.

The ferry to Bali is available 24 hours, leave every 30-45 minutes.

Car & Driver 10 hours Rp 450.000/car. Fit comfortably up to 5 people with small daypack or 3 persons with big backpacks.
Local Guide IDR 200.000/group.
Motorbike rent (about IDR 100.000/24 hour)
Motorbike taxi (i think it’s IDR 300.000 for return trip)
Ferry to Bali IDR 6.500
