As you may have heard, hence you have been googling around the latest information about Borobudur entrance fee, it is true that since May 1st 2017, the officials have raised the rates for entering the UNESCO site, Borobudur Temple, and Prambanan temple as well as Ratu Boko temple. To be short and simple , below are the updated entrance fee for Borobudur in
USD20 USD25 (IDR325K).
Sunrise Borobudur via Manohara Resort
Borobudur + Mendut + Pawon USD30.
Prambanan only USD25.
Prambanan + Plaosan + Sojiwan USD30.
Ratu Boko USD25.
Sunset Ratu Boko IDR175k.
Combo ticket for Borobudur and Prambanan
USD30 USD40 (IDR520k).
What you should know!
The rates above valid for one adult with international passport, single entry. Rates for adults who bring KTP or KITAS get different rates. See: Tiket masuk Borobudur 2017 terbaru.
International visitors can pay cash in USD or in IDR.
USD10 discount for international visitors who brings a valid international student ID / ISIC or between 3-10 years old.
The USD10 discount doesn’t apply for sunrise & sunset entry nor Combo ticket for Borobudur and Prambanan. The combo ticket is valid for the next 48 hours since purchase, single entry at each temple.
When you purchase the sunrise at Borobudur via manohara resort, the entrance fee already included the entrance to the temple, torch light and snacks at the resort. Usually the snacks are gone by 8am. Also, if you return the torch light at the lobby, you will get small batik scarf as a gift.
