Last month, i got invited by Indonesia Tourism Board to travel with them and travel influencers from all over South East Asia. During this trip we were spoiled, treated like VIPs of VIPs, truthfully i must say. One of them is that the fact that we had been staying in luxury hotels since day 1. If i can be trully honest, this 12 days trip made me re-thinking, hmmm maybe i should travel like this from now on. Who wouldn’t?

Bali is our last stop of the trip. And to end this wonderful Indonesia trip, they’ve arranged us to stay at one of the best resorts in Bali; Alila hotel in Seminyak Area.

What kind of crowd?
Couples everywhere. Yeah i’m just jealous of them. I’ve been single for a while. Ha!
But to be honest, if i ever wanted to have a romantic weekend with my future boyfriend or a relaxing getaway with my family, Alila Seminyak will definitely be the first resort that will pop in my head if we decided to go for 5 stars accommodation. Their minimalist open-air architecture goes well with any crowd, simple but yet sophisticated and calming at the same time. Located in a 2 hectare ground, this hotel is super spacious. I think even during holiday peak season, each guest will still manage to have their own nice space in one of the three super large infinity swimming pools. Don’t forget, they also have the sunset view bar, lounge and restaurant perfectly located facing to the beach.

Around Alila.
The fact that it’s located the prime location of Seminyak area, almost everything that’s good in Seminyak are within walking distance or a short drive from Alila. Seminyak’s hippest beach club, Potato Head is just next door. Cool hang out spots such as Ku De Ta, Motel Mexicola, La Favela, Nook are also not too far away. If you’re not in the mood to walk, Alila also have a vintage Volkswagon Kombi to bring you there at selected times.

Room details.
Oh my. The deluxe room are super spacious and elegant in a minimalist design. The details are insane, anything you need are pretty much available. The room also goes with an individual toilet and shower and bathtub as well, divided by his and hers facilities.

There are rooms that are located in the main building, where the lobby is and some rooms are located in the satellite buildings. Don’t worry, these buildings are only a few minutes away walk from the lobby, and they do provide buggies to transport you from the lobby to your room. Everything is well prepared and convenient.

My favorite highlights of staying at Alila.
Everything is well designed. You’ll notice it even when you have just entered the lobby. The award winning URBNarc firm did a great job combining simplicity with elegance. The open-aired architecture and infinity swimming pool they have are what they’re well-known for. I still can’t believe they have 3 infinity swimming pools facing to the beach, those pools are just perfect for the whole day especially sunset time.
Breakfast is never the same after staying at Alila. They, of course, has the top-notch buffet style breakfast, but in additional, they also has awesome breakfast menu that are cooked upon order. Yes, you can order them as many as you want. I’m a big sucker for toast with poached eggs and fresh juices for breakfast. So you have to order them, if you are too. ps: fresh Mango juice and home-made mango jam are to die for!

Cheers,
@iamMariza – who still wishes that she’s still staying at Alila.
